YA Fanatic

Anddd finished my re-read. Already have started the new one and its so much better than Queen of Shadow's and Heir of Fire because these two just bored me for most of it. Heir of Fire has a better ending. QOS is where I really start to tire of Aelin (Celeana). She starts to become really full of herself, and not in a good way (still sensing a bit of that in Empire of Storms).

I have to give Maas credit though, because man her writing is just gorgeous. I really didn't fall in love with her until I read A Court if Mist and Fury. Her sentences just flow together, she knows how to write a fight scene and on the opposite spectrum she can write a damn great sexy and steamy scene. I can't wait to see what this author does beyond the Throne of Glass series....because really, as much as I like them, I'm ready for it to end.

And on that note, Assassin's Blade is still my favorite (haven't finished Empire of Storms at this moment) because my heart still sides with Sam. Especially over Rowan.
