I love Marie Lu. I loved the entirety of The Legend Series as well as the entirety of this book, from start to finish Lu knows how to hook a reader and I cannot wait to see where this series goes. Brilliant.

What a way to start a book. I was hooked from the very first sentence and never felt bored. This is dark, people. This isn't pleasant and this isn't a dystopian as some may think. It's a dark twisted, fantasy. And I loved it.

Adelina is a great character to read about. She's isn't obnoxious as I found Katniss. She has a bad side to her. And the background characters are just as sexy and fun to read about, especially Enzo.

Highly, highly recommend to anyone to reads young adult and fantasy.
