YA Fanatic

Meh, I really enjoyed Ruby Red at first. It has science fiction, romance and a bit of fantasy mixed in to one big story. But, it felt boring most of the time. Too much description and history? I wanted more time travel less romance? Maybe the next two will be more exciting. 

Gwenthyn has found out she can travel in time. There are rules of course that cannot be broken. Then there's Gideon. The boy she saw her future doppelganger kissing. Except they can barely stand one another. 

I think I'm in a reading slump when it comes to young adult books. Have I finally read all the really exciting series? All the popular on stands? It's been a while since I've fallen in love with one. Hoping for that to change, I wanted Ruby Red to be it, but like I said just kind of boring. Haven't decided if it will be worth finishing the series or not. Maybe if I see it on the shelf at the library. It'll probably be a while until I pick it up....
