Cardboard Book Review

Cardboard - Doug TenNapel

Some of these graphic novels are extremely bizarre. Cardboard being of them. Its a clever idea and very well done just not my favorite out there.

A father goes out looking for the best birthday gift for his son. He ends up brining him a piece of cardboard. But its a magical cardboard that can be turned into life and figures are created.

This actually remind me a bit of Toy Story. The "evil" character, Max, who steals the cardboard creation is very similar to Sid, his pictures being extremely creepy - did not like him at all.

A fun adventurous story, probably good for the Superhero theme, Every Hero Has a Story. Allows kids to read about families struggling with money and trying to get by with very little.
