A strange little indie book. But fans of bookstores and libraries will love this little story. It's not my favorite writing style out there, but I enjoyed it enough to recommend. But, truthfully, with all the reading I do its one of those books I'll barely remember by this time next year.
Orphelia, known as O is now living with her Aunt Emily for the summer. This means helping her around the bookstore going through dingy old books. But, O never knew the secrets her Aunt has. The torment that has haunted her for many years.
I disliked that the main character was just named O. Felt like laziness to me. She's certainly an interesting enough girl to read about. Her interest in poetry and the town was what kept me intrigued.
Like I said, an odd book but I can definitely see people really enjoying this one if you're find of quirky little bookstore tales.
