Bud Not Buddy Book Review
This is one of those books I've been wanting to read for years but never got around to it. So I was looking forward to it when I started my Newberry challenge. I did end up really enjoying. Its a fun coming of age story of a young boy trying to find his father.
Bud, not buddy is on the run from his last orphanage after a big fight with another boy. Its the time period of the great depression so everyone is moving trying to find employment. Bud meets a new friend and decides to do the same in the hopes to find his father on the way.
A very short audio book that was very well done. I'd easily recommend this book to elementary children looking for a good historical fiction book.
