My top ten books of 2015 in no particular order.
1. The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah
It's unusual for an adult book to be in my favorites but I loved this story about two sisters trying to surviving World War II.
2.The Remedy by Suzanne Young
Another addition to The Program series. And Suzanne Young does this world so well. I can't wait until the next one.
3. Lair of Dreams by Libba Bray
This was my most anticipated book of this year and while its not as good as the Diviners I still loved it. Its spooky, has the air of magic and desperation. I loved every minute of this audio book. And man a cliffhanger.
4. Illuminae by Aimee Kaufman and Jay Kristof
Man, this is the most original science fiction young adult I have read. And its brilliant and appropriately the most talked about book in 2015. A must read.
5. Winter by Marissa Meyer
A gut wrenching ending to the anticipating Lunar Chronicles. My longest read at over 800 pages, but still enjoyable and well worth the wait!
Other favorites:
The Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard
An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir
The Storyspinner by Becky Wallace
Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas
Lying Out Loud by Kody Keplinger
