The Fill In Boyfriend Book Review

The Fill-In Boyfriend - Kasie West

I was really hoping to love The Fill In Boyfriend like I did On the Fence. But most of this was a bit too silly for me. As someone in her twenties I really think I would have enjoyed this much more when I was 15 or 16. But the idea of having another boy be your supposed boyfriend seemed to out there to actually happen.

Gia Montgomery is standing outsider of her senior prom when her boyfriend Bradley dumps her. Her friends think he doesn't exist and she's feeling desperate to prove them wrong when the good looking stranger appears. She enlists him to be her fill in boyfriend and pretend to be Bradley. The guy even goes for it. Maybe, Gia can make him her actual boyfriend in the end.

Gia is a typical superfluous teenager. I found her annoying but I was probably similar to the way she acted in high school. A fun contemporary made for teenagers for teenagers. In other words, I'm too old for this one.
