Riders Book Review

Riders - Veronica Rossi

My overall thoughts on this book after just finishing it...dumb. I felt a major disconnect with the plot and through the characters. The main relationship felt pushed and didn't work. Not a fan of this one, but its something others may enjoy.

Gideon is suddenly aware of new powers he acquires through an accident. And that's when everything changes. But then he really finds out what and who he is, WAR, one of the four legendary horsemen of the Apocalypse. He's kidnapped and bound by the government being questioned and tortured about the gatherings of the horsemen. Will he make it out alive?

The one good thing about this book? The opening scene is pretty explosive. But it falls flat from there. There really isn't much of a plot except the fact that four horsemen exist. Gideon was not a character I overly liked and I less enjoyed his love interest (with very little connection there) Daryn.

A bit disappointing, I enjoyed Under the Never Sky much more than this one.
