Last year I made a post with my favorite dystopians. I read so many each year I figured I need to do another one!
I loved the entirety of the Lunar Chronicles. It's my most recommended book so far and everyone has LOVED them.
Red Queen has very mixed reviews but I adore it. The second one even more so than the first. Give it a shot.
Steelheart is my first Brandon Sanderson book and its a lot of fun, heavy on the weaponry. Had my brother read it and he's also obsessed. Waiting for the second on audio still.
There is A LOT of talk about the Grisha series. And rightly so. The ending was a bit disappointing but overall a lot of fun. And be sure to read her latest, Six of Crows.
Throne of Glass. Very mixed opinions on this series. Some of the books are better than others. Its a long one and still not finished. I read this all over vacation and still enjoyed it. Good, fun fantasy. And will keep you occupied for quite some time.
The Ask and the Answer (Chaos Walking series). Patrick Ness is a writing genius. Enough said.
My past favorite 2015/2016 science fiction series so far. Still have a lot of this year to go.
I also really enjoyed,
Orphan Queen (book two coming out soon)
Storyspinner (I have Skylighter checked out right now and am super pumped for it)
After the End - was a fun audio book.
And many more.....lots of reading to go for this year!
Any favorites lately? Love science fiction/fantasy as much as I do??
