YA Fanatic

I know I am of the unpopular opinion for this one, and I loved the first book.  Honestly, I was bored. Maybe its because I listed to the book even though the narrator was really good. I just wasn't into the story this time around. 

Kestrel is to be engaged to a  man she does not love. She would rather be with Arin. But there are other things to worry about. More important things like always winning the game even though it might cost one of their lives. 

I cant even say what I didn't really like about this book. Maybe it just was wrong timing. I may try and read it instead of listening to it one of these days to see if that makes a difference. 

I have seen some really good reviews for the last book, The Winner's kiss whose book birthday is today. So I will say I am still invested to finish this series off.
