I think this is my least favorite Neil Gaiman book so far and I know I'm largely of the unpopular opinion here. I did like this one. It's a bit too bizarre for my taste and the reason I mostly enjoyed it is because Neil himself narrates the audio book, which is a huge plus.
This is a story of an older man retelling his young self at seven years old and how unsure he was of the opinion of adults and the ongoing's of life. Some strange occurrences happen throughout his childhood that he never believed anyone would truly understand or pay attention too.
I liked a lot of scenes throughout this little book. In the end I liked the beginning more then the ending. It got a little too strange for me. But as one reminisces about childhood a lot of people can relate to this story and character.
