Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets Book Review

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets - J.K. Rowling, Mary GrandPré

While its been several years this is at  least my tenth time reading Chamber of Secrets and I still absolutely adore it. It's still pretty fresh in my head from reading it so many times as a child but I love how well written this series is that it just sucks me in every time.

Harry is back to Hogwarts for his second year. But its not an easy year. Gilderoy Lockhart, a famous wizard who seems obsessed with Harry is the new defense against the dark arts, Colin Creevy won't leave him alone, Malfoy and his family is worse than ever calling muggle-borns mudbloods. And worse yet...the chamber of secrets has been opened again. And Harry finds himself right in the middle of it all.

The characters, the setting, the story is all so well though out. It's no wonder this series is still very popular. I plan to re-read the entire series this month in time for the Cursed Child coming out in July.
