To All the Boy's I've Loved Before Book Review

To All the Boys I've Loved Before - Jenny Han

Okay, so I see why there is a lot of hype surrounding this series. It's a bit cliche, a bit predictable but super cute and easy to fall in love with. It has diverse characters, sibling relationships and is just an all around fun contemporary novel.

Lara Jean loves her life the way it is. But when her older sister goes away things seem to get a bit crazy. First, someone sent out the love letter's she wrote to the five boys she had crushes on. Worse? Josh, her sisters boyfriend and Peter the popular boy in school get one. And then her and Peter weave a lie and pretend dating, all just to make Peter's ex jealous and Josh jealous. But what happens when feelings arise along the way?

I really started to fall in love with Lara Jean. She's a bit naive at times and a bit whiny but she's someone a lot of young girls can relate to. Single parent home, taking care of her younger sister. Trying to fit in in high school and add a little bit of diversity in the mix. She's really a great character.

The next one is definitely something I look forward to listening too. I'm hoping we see more of Lara and Peter as well as her sisters and Josh.
