Dreamology has a really cute concept. Dreaming about a boy you fall in love with then realizing he exists in person. It fell a little flat for me. I thought the plot itself was predictable and possibly something I would have enjoyed more ten years ago when I was in my teens.
Alice has just moved to Boston with her father. Its a new place and a new school. But the dreams are the same. The dreams are always of Max, her made up boyfriend. That all changes when she starts school and see's Max in person, when reality and fantasy merge together.
Alice and Max are cute. I had no problem with their odd relationship. Even the background characters are enjoyable to read about, especially Oliver.
Overall Dreamology was just a bit too cheesy for me to really enjoy. Like I said, cute, but not what I was hoping for. I'd much rather read contemporaries like My Life Next Door or Anna and the French Kiss.
