Behind Closed Doors Book Review

Behind Closed Doors - B. A. Paris

I think I'm of the unpopular opinion when I say I really disliked this book as a whole. I thought that the writing was poor and that the characters weren't strong enough. It is a fast paced read so I'll give it that, but there just wasn't enough to like about this one.

Jack and Grace get married shortly after meeting one another. Grace expects a perfect life with a perfect husband. But she gets the opposite. Jack turns out to be cruel and demanding, keeping her enslaved in her own home. And worst of all, her sister Millie is being thrown into the mix.

I suppose its good in the sense that it is a very quick read, took me about an hour and a half to speed through it. And the author does a great job in making you hate the characters.

If I compare it to other thrillers and suspense novels in its genres its definitely not one of my favorites.
