YA Fanatic

This is definitely one of my favorite Emily Giffin books. I loved the narrator for the audio book as well. First Comes Love is a heart wrenching story of loss and love, forgiving one another and over coming a tragedy that destroys one family. 

It was December 22, he was young and the best brother and son one could ask for. Meredith and Josie lost their brother, Daniel in a car accident 15 years ago. Since then their family has been forever changed by the incident. Meredith is married to Daniel's best friend, Josie hasn't been able to find love and all she wants is a child. And their parents are still grieving the loss of Daniel, the perfect son. 

These characters are fantastic and so realistic. I definitely hated both Meredith and Josie at times. But the entire time, especially in the beginning I wanted Daniel to be alive and well. I felt like I knew him and was almost as gutted as these characters. 

I can't wait for more Emily Giffin novels and absolutely love listening to them. Great for fans of contemporary, realistic fiction.
