When You Reach Me (Stead, Rebecca)
An interesting story that takes place in the 80's. Twelve year old Miranda lives in NYC with her mom. The story starts off with her mom getting mail stating she's won a spot on the $20,000 pyramid game show. But then Miranda starts getting strange letters from a mysterious person. Hence starting a mystery with a twist of fantasy added in. It is certainly a clever little book for middle schoolers. But three stars from me because nothing "wowed" me at any point of the story.
