Initial reaction: Lauren Graham wrote a book! Gilmore Girls!!!!

After listening to it: absolutely love! I don't think I would have enjoyed it nearly as much if I had just read it. But Lauren Graham doing the reading for her own book tops it.

Franny Banks is living in NYC trying to become an actress in a certain amount of time, a deadline she made for herself. Things haven't been going well for her. She's in an acting class, has done some commercials, but nothing else. Then she books an agent.

I really enjoyed the storyline finding it very relate-able. (In the aspect of trying to start my own career). I found Franny hysterical and sarcastic, which I loved and can definitely tell Graham put some of herself in this character. Her roommates, Dan and Jane are really fun characters as well.

The only thing I really disliked was sometimes Franny just kept rambling and her thoughts would go on for too long. Listening to those rambles got a little tiring at points.

The ending made me angry, but not in a bad way! It certainly leaves you hanging (quite literally). I'm really hoping Graham puts out another one!
