Prodigy: A Legend Novel

Prodigy - Marie Lu 3.5 Stars.

I had a hard time finishing this book. It took me quite a while to get into and hooked on the story. The characters are brilliant, as are the themes. Good vs. evil, do we do things because its right and wrong? This is the type of Dystopian that really makes you think.

However, I think what I disliked was June and Day being separated most of the book. Once the last 100 pages or so began I was totally hooked into the story. Fast paced, edge of the seat, with twists I never would have guessed.

I really love Day. He's protective, wants what's best for his country, and has excellent character development. As do some new characters, such as Anden.

If you're looking for yet another Dystopian trilogy Mari Lu's, Legend is definitely one I would recommend.

And now, because of that killer of a cliffhanger I'm requesting Champion from the library and hoping to get it ASAP.
