I really don't have a whole lot to say about this book. It's very similar to that of, Dead End In Norvelt continuing on Jack Gantos' adventure with the crazy neighbor, Miss. Volker.
In the sequel the two take a road trip, heading to New York because the beloved Eleanor Roosevelt died. It becomes a whirlwind of an adventure with guns, chasing bad guys, love, humor, and silliness.
I honestly can't decide which one I liked more for both appeal to me on about the same level. Enjoyable, funny, and the perfect adventure story for middle school boys.
Audio Book: Again, much of the same. Gantos is able to deliver and dialogue funny characters and bring them to life. He's dramatic and energetic causing you to really be drawn into the story and adventure.
