YA Fanatic

*Spoilers for book one* 

This is a series that I didn't expect to fall in love with, but I am, slowly and surely. It's certainly not the best series out there, but I love it for what it is (much like that of Twilight), angsty, paranormal, and filled with mysteries and quite the cliffhanger.

Katy is trying to get used to her new powers and  the fact that Daemon and Dee are in fact, aliens. Her book blog has been the last thing on her mind with the Department of Defense in town. Its up to the three of them to keep her powers hidden, nothing good can come out of them knowing.

Daemon is a tad bit insufferable, he's annoying, he's a prick, and he's downright rude for most of the book which was very frustrating. But he grows on you, there is character development and there is a big change in Katy's and Daemon's relationship (fairly predictable but enjoyable).

Oynx isn't one of those boring, lack lusting sophomores in a series (I thought it was better than the first)! A series to be recommended, but not for everyone, give it a try because you never know.
