YA Fanatic

First of all, I'm wondering why there isn't a cover for this on amazon?

This will be my second New Adult book and I'm really not impressed with this genre. They're all the same..not the most well written, boring characters and fairly similar situations.

Brittni dumped her ex two years ago and hasn't seen him since college since he now hates her guts. The feeling is mutual. So when the two are stuck in an elevator all the old feelings come back and its up to them to try and work out their differences.

I actually was expecting much more from the elevator part of the story. Instead we get present and past chapters. The present elevator storyline being one to two page chapters and really fillers for the story - at times they were completely pointless and unnecessary.

This would have been more enjoyable if the elevator parts were cut out and it was just a simple story of two people have a relationship and dealing with hardships and trying to over come them. Instead, the elevator scenes were sloppy and rather boring whereas I wanted angst, excitement and maybe even some fun romance.

I might give a few more New Adult books a try but I really don't see me becoming a huge fan of the genre.
