Buckhorn Beginnings Book Review

Buckhorn Beginnings: SawyerMorgan (Hqn) - Lori Foster

This contains the first to books in the Buckhorn brothers series by Lori Foster. After reading No Limits I really wanted to check out more by Foster. Sawyer and Morgan unfortunately didn't live up to my hopes.

Honey Malone is running from the past and crashes her car into the Buckhorn farm lake. Sawyer is first on the scene. The two become close and Honey's past comes to scene. The two still try to make it work and have that special connection to do just that.

After Honey comes to town her sister is next and clashes with the sheriff, Morgan Buckhorn. Misty has some secrets on her own and its up to Morgan to keep her from leaving for good.

Sawyer was interesting enough and a fun and caring character read about as was Honey. The aspect of these brothers living together with Sawyers younger son is appealing and what draws you to the story. I enjoyed the steamy scenes and book one much more than Morgan, book two.

Morgan is annoying, pushy, and just rude most of the time. Misty's storyline was too repetitive and similar to Honey that I couldn't find myself to care.

Though, not as good as No Limits, Foster's newest novel, I'll probably finish this series sometime in the next week and further read more of her books.
