Talk about a repetitive book. Though a very fast read, Bang, is very, very similar to its first book, Crash.
Now its not Jules seeing visions, its her boyfriend, Sawyer. This time of a school shooting. The visions get worse and worse and its up to them to stop it. Plus, they have to keep their relationship a secret from both of their parents.
I did enjoy, once again, the relationship between the three siblings. Very relate-able and fun to read about. Its hard to find a young adult book about siblings. My favorite character is the older brother Trey.
What I didn't like about this book is the repetitiveness. The entire visions and stopping them from happening seemed like the same thing as book one. Even though its a different situation they went through many of the same things trying to stop it from happening.
Wake still remains to be my favorite series by Lisa McMann. And probably will stay so unless she comes up with something just as great.
