Unmasking Juliet is a cute, fun retelling of Romeo and Juliet. Maybe not a memorable book but enjoyable and something fans of classic romances will love.
Juliet''s and Leo's families have hated each other for years. All because of a stolen chocolate recipe. But then they meet and share a secret kiss, everything they've ever thought of each other changes. The question is, how long can they hide it from there families?
I was really curious to see how the author would end this book, considering how tragic the actual ending of Romeo and Juliet is. I, for one, am happy with it.
Juliet is a fun character to read about. She's a strong female character who can easily hold her own. Leo is just as enjoyable as Juliet. Not pushy or a jerk like a lot of romances tend to have men be. For that, I fell in love with him.
Though, I probably won't read the other two books in this series I did enjoy this one enough to recommend to fellow romance lovers, especially those looking for a twist on some classic romances!
